Gabriele Reuter

Gabriele Reuter ist freie Choreografin und Urbanistin mit Basis in Berlin. Die Liebe zur Tanzimprovisation, die Auseinandersetzung mit Stadt und eine partizipative ko-kreative künstlerische Praxis liegen im Zentrum ihres Schaffens. Ihre künstlerischen Arbeiten, Audio Touren und Interventionen in städtischen Räumen wurden in vielen internationalen Koproduktionen ermöglicht und gezeigt, u.a. Nottdance (UK), Springdance (NL), idans (TU). Gabriele hat zahlreiche Improvisationsreihen und künstlerische Begegnungsformate in England und Deutschland konzipiert und darin mitgewirkt, entwickelte Stücke und Workshops zusammen mit Kindern, Jugendlichen und Erwachsenen. Sie unterrichtet und performt seit über 20 Jahren als Dozentin, Mentorin, Moderatorin Tanz, Bewegung, Improvisation und Raumtheorie in- und ausserhalb des Tanzes. Nach über 15 Jahren Tätigkeiten als Projektleiterin und Führungskraft im Kulturbereich wirkt sie zusätzlich als Beraterin und Coach im Feld der Transformationsbegleitung und Systemischen Organisationsentwicklung.

Gabriele Reuter is a freelance choreographer and urbanist based in Berlin. Her work centres around her love of dance improvisation, her engagement with the city and a participatory, co-creative artistic practice. Her artistic works, audio tours and interventions in urban spaces have been made possible and shown in many international co-productions, including Nottdance (UK), Springdance (NL) and idans (TU). Gabriele has conceived and participated in numerous improvisation series and artistic encounter formats in England and Germany, developing pieces and workshops together with children, young people and adults. She has been teaching and performing for over 20 years as a lecturer, mentor and presenter of dance, movement, improvisation and spatial theory both within and outside the field of dance. After more than 15 years as a project manager and leader in the cultural sector, she also works as a consultant and coach in the field of transformation support and systemic organisational development.
